David Bedein acts as a living witness to breaking events. He has provided hands on coverage of critical middle east negotiations which have taken place in Oslo, Ottawa, Shepherdstown, The Wye Plantation, Annapolis, Geneva, Nicosia, Washington, London, Bonn and Vienna and is the author of the forthcoming book, "Swimming Against the Mainstream"
David has overseen investigative studies of the Palestinian Authority, the Expulsion Process from Katif and Samaria, The Peres Center for Peace, Peace Now, The International Center for Economic Cooperation of Yossi Beilin, the International Solidarity Movement, Adalah, the New Israel Fund and UNRWA, The United Nations Relief and Works Agency
David’s work is independently supported through donations to the US Tax Deductible Center for Near East Policy Research, which now has a branch office in Jerusalem.
David is married to Sara, who works at the Koby Mandell Foundation which provides support services for people whose loved ones have been murdered by Israel’s peace partners. David and Sara, who reside in Efrat, have six children. Their oldest son, Noam, runs the Sderot Media Center at www.SderotMedia.com

I moved to Israel on my 20th birthday because I became a Zionist when I was 19 and thought that this is what Zionists did. That was 38 years ago. I still feel the same way.
