Mumbai terrorists sexually mutilated Rabbi and his pregnant wife

Indian official sources are now reporting what many Israelis knew but did not report. Now, with graphic reports appearing in the Mumbai Mirror and the Atlas Shrugs blog, it is confirmed that "the Rabbi and his wife at Nariman House were sexually assaulted and their genitalia mutilated," according to an unnamed senior officer of the investigating team quoted by the Indian paper.

Rabbi Gavriel Noach Holtzberg and his wife, Rivka, reported in advanced stage of pregnancy, were among the 8 murdered by terrorist in the Chabad House. Their two year old child was rescued.

According to the Mumbia Mirror, "Disturbing photographs made available to this newspapers by police sources indicate that several of the guests at the Taj Mahal Hotel during the siege November 26 were sexually humiliated by the terrorists and then shot dead."

"Police sources confirm that even as the terrorists were engaged in a fierce combat with NSG commandos, they were humiliating their hostages before ending their terrifying ordeal."

"Photographs taken by a police forensic team after the hotel was sanitised yield a gruesome picture of some of the guests in the nude."

We chose not to include the photos. The photos on the other sites are not of the rabbi and his wife but unidentifiable victims in the hotel. I do think it is important to portray the killers as sadists and perverts and not "just" ideological freedom fighters. This is a battle of good vs evil, and no one should be deceived.

Cynthia, I don't think it's the pictures so much as the news story. No major news media is reporting that the hostages, including the Rabbi and his pregnant wife were sexually mutilated. This news is especially significant to show how these terrorists view non muslims. If they can report the news and it's believed that's great but the Muslim apologists will say it isn't true.

Radiant, I think you have some good points but if this was your family, you would not want these pictures plastered all over the internet. Out of respect for the victims, I'm glad they were removed.

Troubling is that none of this is broadcast on CNN, NBC, CBS or ABC.

I strongly disagree with the display of these pictures. They're horrible pictures. We don't need to dishonor these people any further with this display. Their families have been through enough trauma. I would still like to know why it took three days for Indian police to kill the terrorists. This delay allowed time for these hideous crimes to be committed.
